TOTALLY UNETHICAL!

On Sat November 15th we were given an ultimatum by Mike Logan of the Granada Theater (Lawrence, KS) to either surrender copies of former recordings or no longer be allowed to record concerts there. We chose the latter... We will not be forced into giving away that which is not ours to give away. The multitrack recordings we have done belong solely to the artist... The artist has the right to choose what is done with their music... The basic fact is that we record the show to the best of our ability and will always go to great lengths to protect the rights of the artists we record! We will not be bullied into supplying unauthorized copies of recordings for any reason. We totally support the workings of the RIAA and the Artists' Rights and Theft Prevention Act (ART Act).
While we as a company will have to endure the financial losses of not being able to record in this venue, we would rather suffer through the losses, than ever betray an artist and their work.

A special thanks goes out to all the individuals and companies that have responded to the out right wrong doings of Mike Logan! We always welcome your comments, and look forward to working with the many companies that support our Anti-Piracy stand. It is a good thing to know that so many people believe as we do that an artist has rights and they should be protected at all costs! In the coming weeks we will be building a set of links to the above mentioned companies in what we will call the "honesty" file. In the same stroke of the pen we are building a list of companies and individuals that have knowingly screwed artists and will welcome emails to check if a company you are thinking of dealing with has made "scamster" file.

Help us build the list... We welcome your stories.
